FloodAI — SMS Communications Policy

Overview

FloodAI and its affiliated adjusting firms contact policyholders via SMS as authorized representatives of insurance carriers in connection with active property insurance claims. When a policyholder files a claim with their insurance carrier, their contact information — including phone number — is provided to the assigned adjusting firm through the loss notice (FNOL) to facilitate timely claims processing.

How We Obtain Contact Information

Policyholder contact information, including mobile phone numbers, is provided to us directly by the insurance carrier through the First Notice of Loss (FNOL) or assignment documentation. By filing an insurance claim and providing a phone number to their carrier, policyholders may be contacted by the carrier's authorized adjusting representative via SMS for claim-related communications.

Purpose of SMS Messages

All SMS communications are strictly transactional and informational in nature, related to the policyholder's active insurance claim. Messages may include:

Initial contact to schedule a property inspection
Claim status updates
Inspection scheduling and reminders
Requests for documentation or additional information
Adjuster contact details and introduction

We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on claim activity. Policyholders typically receive 1–5 messages during the lifecycle of a claim.

Opt-Out / STOP
